Monitoring Mining Activity
At Tathya, we have developed a methodology using remote sensing to monitor changes at the various areas of a mine like the pits, overburden and inventory to create an index which monitors the amount of production activity happening at the mine in 6 to 12 days interval. We cover important commodities like iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper among others and are continuously increasing our coverage.

- Production data from most important mines comes with a huge lag like a quarter
- In many geographies mine production data is not available at all
We aim to remove these gaps in the Mining data availability by providing near real-time and unbiased mine production data at a 6 to 12 days interval. This enables the various stakeholders in the commodity supply chain to get an early view of the supply of raw materials and any disruptions in supply.
